FAQ

Common questions about Terno AI security, data access, and integrations.

Not in your databases or warehouses. SQLShield checks every SQL query, and only read-only SELECT statements are allowed. Some app connectors, such as Google Ads, can also take actions. Actions need a workspace admin and write permission, and you can preview them with a dry run first.

Do I share my database password with the AI?

Section titled “Do I share my database password with the AI?”

No. You enter connection details directly in Terno over an authenticated web session. An AI assistant connected over MCP only receives a link to that page, never a credential.
